Defensive coverage needs to patched immediately!!! Damn near every team i play against passes for at least 300+ yards on me. Now given that i did take Texas State and move them to the SEC and also made my schedule harder by adding all ranked opponents. Even with doing that, every team shouldn't be shredding my defense through the air like that. There is always someone open! Its ridiculous but i still put myself through that headache bc i really like the game its just frustrating af tho. Its also hard to get sacks bc receivers are consistently open so the ball is out of the qb's hand in like 2 seconds. Hopefully this issue gets patched soon

also- what would be a reason someone wants to match?

to be clear- if I choose a play with a match then hit Y and choose shade over then it’ll cancel all matches on the field?

Lol.....I've used this same formation in Madden for YEARS against ANY defense and just flipped it from one side to the other occasionally and or changed the cross to a deep go and the go to a cross and I ALWAYS have an open man. This is nothing new when you've been on this shit for 3 decades lol.

Man, you can only use that playbook if it's part of your favorite team's playbook. The problem is you can ONLY USE the team's playbook that you select for head to head. I don't know if you know that or not.

CFB 25 Can be fun..... If I am beating every team 80+ to 0 on Varsity then switch to Heisman and can't do anything the CPU does, that is sssoooooo frustrating. I'm sure I'm going to get comments that my skill level sucks. I don't have 8 hours a day to dedicate to a game. I just want a casual competitive game. THE CPU can absolutely burn me over the middle. I throw over the middle and get obliterated. I really want to love this game but can barely get through one game without wanting throw my controller through the wall. The defense is atrocious against any team let alone the top tier teams. Let's not even talk about trying to kick a damn field goal!

I remember in Madden putting your user on a blitz made the player move alot faster as a user. Does this hold true in NCAA as well? Also tapping a lineman then disengaging would free someone off he edge too. I wonder if this works too.

Game is an absolute dumpster fire. Can't even adjust your depth chart without the computer putting players you bench back in the game. The most basic of user inputs is completely ignored. It's not even a game just the computer simming. It's pitiful

One other thing tho with this. If the read defender has another defender right outside of him then usually a read option isn’t going to work. As the read defender will crash and the other defender will contain. For example if the RB flipped sides in your example and the defense stayed the same then there would be 2 defenders to read and 9 times outta 10 they will take away both the give and the pull

This is my least favorite gameplay change. Pistol and shotgun-almost doesn’t matter if you read crash and hand it off anyway because the defender pursuit angle is always nonoptimal even when unblocked in read and triple options. Undercenter-it is nigh impossible on higher difficulty levels to read crash and pull in time (especially midline reads). EA should add a toggle setting for classic option controls.

Love the content always.. but this isn't an accurate video.. here's what EA did good but rough if you don't understand the assignments.. if you are a lb user n don't know your assignment in match .. idc what you do someone will be left wide open. Someone WILL drop their assignment. 2. Everyone need to know if you set you curl flats to 30 I ONLY applies to curl flats. Some people think all purple zones will follow that adjustment. Last thing .. Tampa 2 CAN be matched Take way mid read is one way .. not saying it's a safe thing to do lol. Or just utilizing push coverage... coverage will continue to reassign aka push then match . For advanced players there's also blitz cover 2 zones or readjust weak side assignments.. that will trigger tampa 2 into match as well . I agree it's some things different from madden so it can get tricky.. the best advice is don't use match against Texas.. you will get smoked lol 😅

If you leave a seam flat on one side and put curl flat on the other will the seam flat side still be in match?

Another great video. I subbed to the website again. I'm still labbing out how to run match and with ZDs set, to see if it works for CFB like it did in Madden last year. Good catch on the QTR zones atill in match due to the seam flats.
